My breasts are a different size. Is that normal?
Short answer: YES! Did you know we are all asymmetrical? Our breasts are just like our feet; they aren’t the same size!
Do I need an appointment for a fitting?
Appointments are not necessary. Our fit experience is complimentary, and you can come in any day or time we’re open for your experience. We help women fit! Please see our Your Fit Experience for more detailed information.
Do you custom make your bras?
It’s our fit experience that is custom. Please see our Your Fit Experience section. Our bras and swimwear are imported from European designers because European sizing is much more comprehensive and inclusive. Breasts don’t stop at a North American size DDD, and neither do our bras and swim. After years of hands on experience with more than two dozen brands, our lingerie, swimwear, and sleepwear designers were personally selected by Tamara for their balance of quality, fit, and value.
Why can’t I just buy my bras and bathing suits at (insert chain retailer here)?
You can. What we offer at Bliss Beneath is a personalized fit experience, education you can take with you the rest of your life, specialized sizing, quality merchandise, our extensive product knowledge, and understanding. We stock garments to help you feel comfortable, feel confident, and feel happy. We help you fit!
Can I wear one bra under everything?
No.You want to wear a light coloured bra under your lighter clothing, a dark coloured bra under your dark clothing, and either a skin tone or red underneath white clothing. Yes, you read that correctly! You can wear a true red bra underneath a white shirt, and the red disappears. How much fun is that?! Many women get stuck in a rut buying black for their dark bra. Plum, navy, charcoal, forest green, aubergine, and chocolate brown are all great substitutes for black. Get creative with your colours! Have fun with your lingerie! It’s an opportunity to express yourself to yourself.
How many bras do I need?
Ideally, you have three every day wear bras that fit you beautifully, and you wear each one approximately two times per week. Regular rotation and proper care is how to get the best performance and most longevity out of your investment. Please read our Lingerie Care section on how to properly take care of your fine washables.
Do you carry sports bras?
Yes! We have a great selection of sports bras designed for various levels of intensity of activity. When you’re being active, you want to wear a sports bra specifically designed for the intensity of your activity. For example, if you’re engaged in a high impact activity like running, you want to wear a sports bra designed with maximum support. If you’re doing something low or no impact like yoga, you can choose a sports bra designed for light activities.
What is your return policy?
Our commitment to our clients is to spend the time needed to find your ideal fit. All underwear, swimwear and sale items are always final sale; no exceptions. For all other purchases in store credit will be provided if your purchase is never worn, in sellable condition, with tags attached and returned within 7 days of the original purchase date. We stand behind our products and our fit, and we appreciate any concern after a fitting to be immediately brought to our attention.
